Henry Haydn Jones is the late and former owner of the Talyllyn Railway that is based on the Skarloey Railway as he is based on The Owner of that railway named Sir Handel Brown I who was likely to be married with five daughters named before the Skarloey Railway's coaches and his sister married Sir Topham Hatt who was the Fat Controller of the North Western Railway. Sir Haydn is named after him. His title was "Sir Henry Haydn Jones" whom he took charge of the Talyllyn Railway and met the Awdrys who created the Skarloey Railway in their book, Four Little Engines published in 1955. The last book he was the owner of the Talyllyn Railway was called Duke the Lost Engine published in 1970. It is believed he's also the owner of the Corris Railway which was closed down in 1948.
